Antonio Couto

Mr. Couto is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with over twenty years of experience assisting companies increase shareholder value by restructuring problematic operations and improving financial management, in a wide range of industries in the US, Europe, Latin America, Japan and Australia. Until creating his own consulting practice in 2001, he led the finance team at ABB Financial Consulting (US), helping companies reduce working capital and financing costs by improved finance, treasury, cash and risk management (foreign exchange, interest rate and credit). Prior to ABB, Mr. Couto was a Vice President for JP Morgan Chase in New York, where he advised clients on investment management. Before Chase, Mr. Couto served as a Vice President at Credit Suisse First Boston, working in risk management and international corporate finance, and earlier at Citibank N.A., in treasury consulting product development. Mr. Couto has Masters degrees in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and in management from the Sloan School of Management (MIT).
