Ms. van Halem is responsible for corporate finance projects for JH Lillian & Co. GmbH, the firm's affiliate in Frankfurt, Germany, and has been active in developing the European version of the firm's outventuring concept. She was an Associate in the mergers & acquisitions department of J.P. Morgan in Frankfurt, where she worked for three years on a wide range of industries. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Ms. van Halem worked in the M&A department of Citibank, in both Frankfurt and New York. In her five years in those M&A departments, she worked on over 25 transactional or strategic advisory engagements. Ms. van Halem graduated from the University of Cologne (Germany) with a degree in business and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). She is fluent in German and English and has a working knowledge of French.
